Conducting

As a conductor, Jean-Philippe Calvin has a rich musical repertoire that covers anything from Classical to Contemporary music, including symphonic music, operas, and also other musical genres such as World Music and Film Music. He is familiar with Renaissance and Baroque scores and performing practices as well. He has also commissioned, premiered and conducted the works of major contemporary composers such as Steve Reich, Pierre Boulez and Karlheinz Stockhausen.
